Normandy that day in World War 2. In bold lettering across the top are the words, “IN MEMORY & HONOR OF ALL WHO FOUGHT FOR FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY, & THE LIBERATION OF EUROPE”.
In a platinum wrap-around design, the center of the stein is a map of the cost of
Normandy complete with drop-zones, beachfronts, and landing points which is also detailed on both left and right sides of the stein. A pewter-made medallion is at the center of the stein with the label “D-Day June 6th 1944”. Below the medallion, troops are depicted making their way through the water to the coast. Above the medallion are the words, “All Gave Some…Some Gave All”.
This black-glazed quality stoneware is topped with an ornamental pewter lid featuring a combat helmet resting on the flag of the
United States. The pewter thumblift itself is a soldier figurine. With such detailed depictions and commemoration to the heroes in D-Day, this limited edition stein is a must-have for anyone with affections for heroism, love for country, and the defense of freedom.
